TRANSLATOR’S NOTE:
This is a book that was published in Japan recently that was put together by a Japanese author. She compiled information from interviews with fans, teachers, friends, and in some parts, parents of Super Junior members, and put it all together in this 343 page book. I don’t know how accurate certain details might be, but I’ll be translating whatever is written in the book. Bit unrelated, but she’s also done a few other books about other Hallyu stars such as DBSK, SS501 and Lee Byung Hun so I’m thinking her sources are probably pretty solid. Make of it what you will though :)
Disclaimer: I’m not making any money out of translating this book at all. I’m doing it as a fan, for fans because I think there are people who don’t understand Japanese who would want to know more about what this book has to say too.

The book is divided up into 12 chapters in total, with the first one being about stories about the boys and the fans, the second being an interview with their vocal trainer, and the remaining 10 being split up between 10 of the members. Unfortunately, the author found it difficult to get information on Hangeng, Kibum and Siwon, so these 3 do not have their individual chapters.
Each of the chapters might be split into a few parts otherwise it might be hard to read. As I post up stuff, I’ll be posting links to the previous entries that I’ve posted so you’ll be able to trackback to those parts easily, I hope ^^ There might be some inaccuracies when it comes to translating Japanese back into Korean names, so if there’s any mistakes please let me know :) Hope the crazy amount of text doesn’t put you off XD;
That being said, I hope that you guys enjoy reading as much as I enjoy translating!

Prologue: Super Junior is..
To everyone who loves Super Junior
Being a fan can sometimes mean having conflicted feelings. To those who have been supporting a group/artiste right from the very beginning when they debuted, you may feel lonely once they hit it big, yet you want them to grow further, to diverge, to be the best.
Since Super Junior debuted, most of their activities were focused within Korea and China, and have been growing steadily further ever since. During that period in Japan, DBSK was just starting to be known by the Japanese people who were unaware of Kpop, and they soon became a huge name and gained a huge following. Now names such as Big Bang, Choshinsei (Supernova) and other groups that have not been greatly promoted by the [Japanese] media such as SHINee and CNBlue are getting popular too.
Due to their main activities being focused in Korea and China, this might be why Super Junior are not as well-known in Japan as DBSK are. However, in hopes of them having more activities in Japan, and to let more people know of the charms that Super Junior have, this author did as much as she could from the information she could gather from Korea.
Unfortunately, it was very difficult to find information about Hangeng, Kibum and Siwon, and I was therefore unable to write detailed sections about them. I am truly sorry and apologise deeply to fans of these three members.
However, for the other ten members, I was able to obtain new and/or information with regards to the hometowns they were born in, get in touch with teachers from the schools they went to, and even heard wonderful stories about them from their parents.
I was also able to interview my teacher, Moon Yong Ho, the vocal trainer for DBSK and Super Junior, who told me about their trainee days, the training system of the copany and other assorted details. I hope I am able to provide information to many fans, who might otherwise be unable to find information about the company in other books / forms of literature.
This book also includes detailed instructions of how and where the restaurants run by Shindong and Yesung’s parents are. If you have have the chance to visit Korea, I highly recommend that you visit their shops at least once. I believe their wonderful parents would be happy and would warmly welcome fans to their restaurants.

★☆★☆ Super Junior ★☆★☆
Super Junior is an idol group connsisting of 13 young men that was formed by S.M. Entertainment. The world “idol group” is too limiting for their talents, because not only do they sing and dance, they are involved in a multitude of other activities too.
There are members who MC, are DJs, take part in children’s programs, write and compose songs, and also act. They bring to life their individual personalities and can be often seen introducing themselves as “I’m Super Junior’s ______”, and not only do they make their own names known, but also that of the group Super Junior.
They debuted as a 12 member group on 6th November 2005. However, with the release of the single “U”, a new member, Kyuhyun was added, rounding it up to 13 members. Since their debut in 2005 they have won numerous awards, and this popular idol group just keeps getting better and better.
Some of the important awards that they have won or have been nominated for are as follows:
- 2006 MKMF (Mnet KM Music Video Festival) – Newcomer’s Award
- 16th Seoul Music Awards Top Artiste Mobile Popularity
- 2006 Golden Disc Awards Best New Group; Best Music Video
- 2006 SBS Song Awards – Best New Male Group
- “U”, “Dancing Out” – 1st Place in SBS Inkigayo
- “U”, “Dancing Out” – 1st Place in Mnet M Countdown
- 2007 Asia Song Festival – participated as representatives of Korea
- 2007 MKMF Auction Netizen Popularity; Mobile Popularity; Artist of the Year
- 2007 Korea Best Dresser Swan Awards – Best Dressed Singer
- 2007 Korea Most Popular Entertainment Awards – New Generation Artist
- 2007 Golden Disc Awards – Bonsang and Popularity Award
- Second 2007 Tencent Stars Magnificent Ceremony – Asia’s Artist of the Year
- 2007 Asia Model Festival Awards – Entertainment category: Asia Special Award
- 2009 Golden Disk Awards – Bonsang and Popularity Award
In this manner, they have continued to win awards, participate and are invited to prestigous events up until the present day.
Regardless of the numerous awards or not, with such a large number of members, this 13-member idol group is still able to show the individual qualities and talents of each of the members, and they are surely born out of great strength, of a great bond together.
Let’s take a closer look at the times that these 13 members have gone through, together.
Chapter 1 – The Secrets of Super Junior & ELF
ELF Japan (the nickname for Super Junior’s fanclub in Japan), have you ever wondered about the kind of interaction that Korean fans have with Super Junior members?
Certainly due to Super Junior having been “born” in Korea as a group, there will definitely be more chances for Korean ELF to interact with them in comparison to ELF Japan.
This is why I thought that I should share stories and fanaccounts of the things that have happened between ELF and Super Junior members, true stories about events that happened to the members themselves, and funny stories among ELF about Super Junior.
Thank you very much to the ELFs So Haeli and Jan Sona for providing me with such a wealth of information! now, let us all go into the world that we’ve all been imagining and fantasising about!
The Legend of Super Junior
~The fans love you
1) The Story of Yesung and his turtle
Yesung, the member who is said to have one of the best vocals in Super Junior, and that he is so good, he just might leave you speechless. He is also known to get bored easily, and often stares blankly into space, a complete contrast to the artist you see on stage. Truly adorable, this member of Super Junior. Perhaps because of his personality, the first phrase that might enter your mind is that he’s a bit clueless [T/N: Note, the author doesn't mean this in a bad manner, but rather an affectionate manner. In Japanese, he would be referred to as a 天然ボケ and the closest thing I can get to in English is either blur case/clueless. Or well. Natural airhead? XD;]
This story happens in the dorms. I mentioned earlier that he gets bored easily, and he also doesn’t like being alone.
One day, when Yesung went to Heechul’s room, he found that the “I can’t stand to be alone” Heechul had gotten himself a cat! He thought to himself “I should get some kind of pet too. Maybe then I’ll feel less lonely and bored.” and he started looking for a pet to call his own.
The animal that he finally bought was a tortoise [T/N: Judging from the pictures of Ddangkoma, it's a box tortoise.)
A tortoise that cost 350,000 won.
In Japanese yen that's about 30,500 ~ 30.600 yen. From the very beginning, he treated his pet well and brought it up with lots of love, even giving it a cute name.
He named it "Ddangkoma" (Chibi in Japanese / tiny or runt in English).
Ddangkoma, which became Yesung's - playmate? family? - pet was then housed in an appropriate glass box akin to an aquarium. Unlike Heechul's cat which he could play with, Yesung's tortoise was more of a pet that one would just observe through the glass.
For someone who bought a pet to stave off boredom, after numerous hours of just watching his tortoise, it seems that he became even MORE bored.
...Somehow, doesn't this seem like a rather Yesung thing to do?
2) Siwon's ok with getting married?!
As a fan, when you hear about the idol you like being involved in a relationship or getting married, don't you get envious and jealous straightaway?
This is a rumour that concerns the member said to be the most charismatic in the group, Choi Siwon.
He lives in the Gangnam district in Seoul. If you compare it to Japan, it would be like Ginza or Roppongi (T/N: Idk anything about Korea, but if we're talking about Ginza or Roppongi, you can compare that to say, the more expensive areas of L.A? Not quite Beverly Hills status yet, but close.). He is the son of the president of a trading company, and could perhaps be called a young "noble". The following rumour circulates among the fans:
"In Siwon oppa's contract, it says that he can marry even if he is still involved in Super Junior activities, or the entertainment industry."
Just when I started thinking to myself "That can't possibly be true...", somehow it seemed to me that "If it's Siwon, then perhaps an exception would really be made" - I can almost imagine it in my head.
If this isn't just hearsay among the fans but actually in his contract, then its truly one of the more unique conditions *laughs*.
3) Heechul's excessive revenge?!
Amongst fans, Heechul is well known as being "4D" (in Korean, this refers to an individual who expresses himself and his opinions in a rather unexpected manner).
There is a "Heechul-ish" situation that occurred between a fan and Heechul.
A fan sprayed Heechul with a water gun (T/N: I think this was probably during SS2 or so...? I don't remember if there were water guns involved where all the members were using 'em in SS1). Normally, the kind of reaction you'd expect from someone sprayed with a water gun to be something like "Stop it~" or "Wait~!" while chasing down the fan, but 4D Heechul's retaliation was a surprise.
What did he have prepared for the fan who had shot at him with her water gun? He took a 2L drinking water bottole and drenched her with it! *laughs*
To add to this, he was cackling away at seeing the fan totally drenched. The fan must have been really shocked, getting drenched in such a fashion. But truly, it is such a mischievous and Heechul thing to do.
What's that? You say you want to get drenched like that too? *laughs*
4) Please look after Heechul well ｍ（＿＿）ｍ
Lee Soo Man, the figurehead of S.M. Entertainment has got a somewhat bad image among fans. For all that he helped to churn out groups such as H.O.T, Shinhwa, DBSK and Super Kunior whom have become superstars and also made the Korean music industry more well known, fans do not have a very good impression of him.
Strangely enough, Super Junior fans are still thankful to him. Is it because he created Super Junior? Is it because he lets their individuality shine through?
Nope, it's none of the above.
It seems that it's because "they accepted the 4D Heechul into the group". *laughs*
According to their vocal trainer (who also trained the author), Moon Yong Ho, even during his trainee days, Heechul was already very outspoken, and also had many radical ideas, which often gave Lee Soo Man a headache (T/N: LOLing so hard)
To think that fans would be thankful to Lee Soo Man because of this...
5) I'm a robot?!
This next one is about Heechul. As expected of Super Junior's 4D character Heechul, he is full of witty jokes and stories.
Everyone, I'm sure you know of the major accident that Heechul was in during 2006.
This happened during the time when he was filming for the drama "Rainbow Romance", and when Donghae's father passed away. After filming, Heechul and his manager had driven to Mokpo to attend Donghae's father's funeral. On the way back from the funeral, Heechul and his manager got into an accident.
At around 5.30am in the morning on the Chungcheongnam-do - Dangjin Interchange while trying to overtake a larger vehicle by changing lanes, the car tyres malfunctioned and Heechul's car crashed into the highway divider.
As a result of that, one of the injuries he sustained was a fractured femur, and this required a metal rod to be inserted into his leg. When you try to imagine it, you can practically visualise the amount of pain he had to endure, but there was even more trouble that ocurred because of the metal rod in his leg.
While passing through customs at the airport, the metal detector went off and the customs officer approached Heechul, and asked him routine questions such "Do you have any metal items in your pockets?" and asked him to go through the detector again. Of course, the metal rod in his leg would cause the metal detector to go off.
It seems that the officer was unaware of Heechul's condition, and even laughingly asked "Are you a robot?"
Maybe the customs officer actually knew about the accident but he found it such a strange event?! But still, to call someone a robot, how rude!~
(T/N: Heechul talked about this story on an episode of Yashimmanman where he appeared with Kangin. Apparently this happened in an airport in USA and the officers there had no clue about his accident. The funniest part was that his English wasn't good enough to tell them he had a metal rod inside his leg due to and accident, and so just stood there and kind of nodded XD)
6) Ryeowook's kindness
Fans probably already know this well? in Super Junior, Ryeowook is somewhat of a mother figure, loves cooking, and even if he's feeling tired, he'd make food for the other members.
He's someone who is not only concerned about their physical health, but their mental health as well, and because he takes such extra effort to care, he also deeply trusted by the members.
This is about how he showed his love/affection for one of his precious members and friends, Donghae.
On Donghae's birthday, October 15th at exactly 10.15, Ryeowook had prepared some food and wished Donghae "Happy Birthday". Not only had he already gotten the cake and a present, but he also took care to wish him at the timing that coincided with the month and day that Donghae was born, as well as prepared food for him; what a romantic situation this was.
Ryeowook fans, did you imagine yourself in Donghae's shoes for an instant? ^^
7) "Long time no see!...Huh? *sweatdrop*"
This is about an embarassing moment that Super Junior's magnae, Kyuhyun experienced.
His hometown is in the Northeast district of Seoul, called Nowon. When he went back to his hometown, he was walking around and he came across this guy whose face he found familiar.
"Oh, its been a long time since I saw him last!" was what Kyuhyun thought as he silently crept up behind the guy and hugged him, even thumping hs back and being very excited about seeing an old friend again after such a long time.
The guy thought it was a friend who was playing a prank on him and went "Hahaha~ what the heck man?" and this actually went on for some period of time, until the guy actually turned around and they actually saw each other' faces - and found out that they COMPLETELY DIDN'T KNOW EACH OTHER!
When Kyuhyun found out, he apologised immediately, "I'm really sorry for surprising you like that (￣▼￣;)" and the guy went "No, it's fine, I had a lot of fun too." and both of them went their separate ways.
As the magnae who's always surrounded by 12 hyungs and a never-want-to-lose attitued, there'd certainly be times where Kyuhyun would want to be assertive, but to hug a complete stranger, thump his back and then find out that he's a stranger must have been surprising too XD

it's nice article, since it talks abt Siwon who said doesnt have a helicopter.
And said its true that his father is a president of japan trade company ^^
This article also comments that Siwon was raised so well, it's seen within his gorgeous face, from he was a cute baby, a handsome teen, ... 'but we dont have a helicopter!' he said ^^ .... a young master from rich family indeed.... he is so precious ^^ ....

Super Junior’s Choi Siwon talks about the rumor of him being an ‘Umchina’ or an ideal son on KBS2 Win Win that aired on the 22nd.
During the episode, Siwon was asked, “It is true that your father is the president of a Japanese trade company, but is it true that you have a helicopter at your house?” by the viewers.
After receiving this question, he seemed embarrassed as he started laughing out loud and explained “It is true that my father is the president of the Japanese trade company, but we do not have a helicopter”.
Because the MCs and the guests– 2PM’s Taecyeon, CN Blue’s Jung Yonghwa– started teasing Siwon, he seemed embarrassed and quickly passed the question it with a laugh.
When Kim Seungwoo stated, “I heard that you have a lot of talent in playing the drums” , Siwon replied by saying, “I never went to a class and I’ve never learned formally”, but then showed a great performance showing off his skills.
He demonstrated his stable acting skills in the recent SBS drama ‘Oh! My Lady’, allowing him to receive a lot of credit and was able to show off his entertainment skill with other idol group actors such Taecyeon and Jung Yonghwa on ‘Win Win’

In my latest posting abt Siwon revealed his father's job.
Siwon said that his father work in Japan. And he was looked fidget. I dont know exactly, the reason. But then i found this another article regarding this topic ^^

KBS 2TV's program 'Win Win' which was aired on the 22nd dealt with the topic of 'Idol actors' and therefore invited Choi Si Won from Super Junior, Taec from 2PM and Yong Hwa from C.N. Blue as guests.
Before the talk show began, Choi Si Won was asked that if you type in his' name on the search engines, the related searches include 'Rich', "Helicopter at home." Choi Si Won then replied by saying " What Helicopter", "that's not true."
The MC then said that he knew that Si Won's father had a business over in Japan and said "so you're rich but you just don't have a helicopter?" and added "but you can surely afford one right?" as a joke and Si Won asked help from Taec and Yong Hwa.
Si Won was able to show his drum skills due to his' hobby being drumming.

On KBS 2TV’s ‘Seung Seung Jang Gu’ aired on June 22nd, Siwon was asked “What is your three fingers trademark gesture all about?” Siwon answered “It was before Super Junior debuted, when I went to Hong Kong to film and promote for a movie. We had to pose for the reporters to take photos when we introduce ourselves. But because I was young I felt very pressured and didn’t have that much confidence, so when I raise my hands to greet them my ring finger and pinky just didn’t come up properly.”
Siwon also said “When Leeteuk hyung saw that gesture, he made a big deal out of it by saying that it looks like a chicken’s feet and named it ‘chicken feet greeting’” this draws a lot of laughter from everyone.
“After that all of the members had fun teasing me about this… especially when fans give good responses. So now when I greet, I just use three fingers” He added while laughing.

Choi, 23, debuted in December 2005 as one of the 13 members of idol group Super Junior, which quickly became one of the most successful K-pop acts throughout Asia. He is also a member of sub-group Super Junior-M, which focuses its activities in the Chinese market.
He has also crossed over to acting, appearing in dramas “Eighteen, Twenty-Nine” (KBS2, 2005) and “Spring Waltz” (KBS2, 2006). He also had a supporting role in war epic “A Battle of Wits” (2006) alongside top Hong Kong star Andy Lau.
The pop idol recently won favorable reviews for his portrayal of fictional superstar Sung Min-woo in the SBS TV series “Oh! My Lady,” which co-starred Hallyu star Chae-lim.

- Each member randomly picks a piece of paper with "tasks" written on it that they must do for Patty (Siwon has to find a way to make her laugh, Henry has to dance with her, Ryeowook has to tell Patty he loves her, Kyuhyun has to give her a massage, Zhoumi has to find a way to get Patty to say he's "shuai" ("handsome" or "cool"), Hangeng will play a prank on her).
- Hangeng and Zhoumi joke around because Zhoumi thinks his task will be pretty easy.
- Siwon tells them not to worry.
- Hangeng wonders how they'll pull off the prank -- "who should we get to fight each other?" (then they speak in Korean...so yeah. Anyone know what the Chinese subs are?)
- Patty introduces the group. She's afraid of saying each of their names because she thinks the screaming that will follow will damage her hearing.
- RW says "I love you" to Patty during his intro.
- Patty asks what kind of girls Donghae likes and he says they have to have a pretty forehead. Patty's like "Hm, is mine too much of a fivehead?" lol. Then he adds "big eyes, long hair, curly is okay". Henry says Donghae means Patty fits that type.
- Patty says Hangeng had the hardest time because he was the first Chinese member to go to Korea to train. She asks him to help translate because his Korean is the best. Hangeng says it was hard doing promotions in China at first due to the language barrier (he and Zhoumi were translating a lot and it was difficult), but now the rest of the members can understand and speak Chinese better so it's not a big deal. They can follow along and know what the general discussion is about. Donghae agrees and says he can slowly listen and guess what's being said. Patty mentions that the first time they met, only Hangeng and Siwon could communicate in Chinese. She compliments Siwon, but he goes "Oh no, no, no..." Patty then suggests that the fastest way to improve their Chinese is to find a Chinese girlfriend, and Siwon says, "Well, what do you think of us??" Patty's like "OHKAY, moving on" lol
- The next activity involves them writing down random questions they want to ask each other on dry-erase boards. Patty asks them to raise their hands if they have a girlfriend, but no one does. Henry says he's looking for one though haha.
- Hangeng says he teaches the members some of the phrases they say to fans in Chinese, like "wo qin ai de bao bei men" and "wo te (zhei) xiang ni" ("I'm super thinking about you/thinking about you a lot" or something?), which is something people say where he's from.
- Ryeowook is the first to be asked a question, but he's not ready so Hangeng teaches Patty how to say "no problem" in Korean. I think Hangeng gets annoyed that RW's taking so long hehe. So anyway, Hangeng's question to RW is "Why do you always want me to take you out to dinner?" RW giggles, but I don't know what he's saying. Patty asks if it's because Hangeng is the leader, so he has to provide for and pay for their meals, but Hangeng's says no, that's not how it works.
- Hangeng's question to Zhoumi is "Do you really think you're shuai?" Zhoumi's like "umm YEAH". Then they talk about how he got into the group. Zhoumi's friends sent in tapes of him singing in Korean to a contest they were holding in Korea, so that's how he got involved. Patty and him agree that it was fate.
- Hangeng and Zhoumi joke around some more about the shuai thing, and Patty asks who HG thinks is the most handsome. He thinks ZM is quite handsome and wants to know who Patty thinks is hot. She doesn't wanna answer, but thinks all together they're very cool and good-looking when they're singing and dancing. Patty also wants them to teach her some of their dance moves.
- HG's question to Henry is "Did you shower last night?" Henry says he did, but HG thinks Henry is one of those people who doesn't like showering. Henry's excuse is that he's so tired usually from performing that he just skips it and sleeps. HG says "The concerts aren't scheduled that close together [so he should find time to bathe]", hahha but Henry shushes out of embarrassment. Meanwhile, RW is shaking his head in the back :D but then he admits he saw Henry shower that morning (Patty says, not together I hope hah)
- Kyu's question to Hangeng is "Are you my Hangeng?" HG says he belongs to everyone. They say it's an inside joke and Hangeng always says "NO" when KH asks him.
- Kyu's question to Henry is "Why do you act so 'sha' (dumb)" (loose translation) He clarifies that he means "like a dumb little kid." Kyu then wants to give Patty a massage.
- Donghae's next and he rushes to sit next to Patty. Patty says she can tell he really likes Siwon from what's written on his board.
- Patty points out all of the stars he wrote all over Siwon's name. DH's question to Siwon is "When are you gonna buy me a Playstation?" Patty says "Oh, it's cause he's rich right? His family is quite wealthy because they own a convenience store chain." Siwon gets really embarrassed, but says he'll buy it for DH when they get back to Beijing. The story behing the Playstation thing is that after an awards show in 2008, they were drinking Baijiu (Chinese hard liquor), but DH was reluctant to drink it, so Siwon promised to get him a Playstation console if DH tried some. Patty's like "So if I drink some, can you buy me something too?"
- DH's question to ZM is "Why is your face so big? Haha, kidding. You're still very/most shuai." Super-vain ZM DID NOT LOOKED PLEASED. Patty then asks do you mean he's very ("hen") shuai or the most ("zui") shuai, because he used both in the sentence and it doesn't make sense together. DH thinks about it and goes with "very" or "hen" (not the most LMAO). ZM still looks mad.
- Then Hangeng says to excuse him, he has to discuss something with the rest of the members for a second. *they speak in Korean* HG pretends to look upset.
- They keep going with the activity. RW asks Siwon something in Korean. Siwon then tries to get Patty to laugh, so he says "You're very pretty in Taiwan." Patty's like, "But I'm not when I go to Hong Kong?" lol
- Questions from fans: "If you guys had little sisters, which members would you approve of them having as boyfriends?" "What's your most unforgettable birthday?" "I love you SJM, give me back my money, and marry me (wtf)" "What do you think is the sexiest thing about Patty?" "When were the most angry?" "Hangeng, can you perform a traditional dance?" "Any funny stories from when you guys go out drinking?" "What kind of girls do you guys like?" "Siwon, do you like this pic of Kyu?" (Sorry I couldn't catch all of the questions!)
- Patty expresses how moved she would be if she were in their position, having so many fans from different places encouraging them. Hangeng agrees and says they feel very happy that all of their hard work had not been in vain.
- Question to RW: "Which member would you choose as your little sister's boyfriend?" He chooses Siwon. Why? HG says "It's 'cause he's rich!" RW says it's because he thinks Siwon is a kind-hearted person and "clean" haha. Hangeng says "Oh yeah, what about me??" Zhoumi says Kyu is probably the worst choice because he's always playing games and will ignore his girlfriend.
- Kyu admits he plays games a lot, but says if he were to have one, she would be his everything and his princess~~ Patty says they'll know the day he finally gets a girlfriend when he puts down his gaming stuff.
- So this is when HG starts getting annoyed. I love how Patty immediately starts freaking out and speaking in English to Henry. The reason they give her for the tension is that the filming is taking a lot time due to translation and communication isues and they had a lot scheduled to begin with. Patty is worried it's because it's something she said, but their manager denies it.
- They laugh and discuss the prank backstage in Korean. Hangeng says in Chinese "Wow everyone really does think I'm angry!"
- They all go back to the interview area where Patty is and explain that Hangeng is a bit frustrated, so they'll continue without him. Haha, Patty is such a good sport! She wants them to teach her the Sorry Sorry dance, and Henry says "I'll do it, I'll dance with you!" in order to fulfill his task. He wants to teach her the Super Girl dance instead though. She asks RW to show her the Sorry Sorry dance. Then they all dance to Super Girl together.
- HG says something like "Are you guys coming out? What are you even clapping about?" omg, he's scary when he's mad...HAWT
- Patty doesn't hear him say that though, so HG comes out and calls the members away. They apologize to her and go backstage again.
- Happy Birthday to Patty!!
- Patty's like "I was so scared!" She thanks everyone, including SJM and her crew, while breaking out in tears. DH acts like he wants to smush the cake into her face.
- She continues saying that she was really scared and that their acting was very believable. HG said that DH even admitted being scared speechless by his act. Then they eat cake and reveal the tasks they were supposed to do with her (the massage, dancing, making her laugh, etc.) Patty says she was afraid she had drawn out the interview too long, but HG reassures her and tells her she is patient/even-tempered.

- Donghae asks how old she is turning, but she wants him to guess. He thinks she's 28 now, but he's wrong (she just turned 30 I think)
- Haha, Patty is still stunned by what happened and compliments their acting again. Henry thought HG really was mad though until they reminded him backstage it was a prank lol. Zhoumi's friends sent in tapes of him singing in Korean to a contest they were holding in Korea, so that's how he got involved. Patty and him agree that it was fate.
- Hangeng and Zhoumi joke around some more about the shuai thing, and Patty asks who HG thinks is the most handsome. He thinks ZM is quite handsome and wants to know who Patty thinks is hot. She doesn't wanna answer, but thinks all together they're very cool and good-looking when they're singing and dancing. Patty also wants them to teach her some of their dance moves.
- HG's question to Henry is "Did you shower last night?" Henry says he did, but HG thinks Henry is one of those people who doesn't like showering. Henry's excuse is that he's so tired usually from performing that he just skips it and sleeps. HG says "The concerts aren't scheduled that close together [so he should find time to bathe]", hahha but Henry shushes out of embarrassment. Meanwhile, RW is shaking his head in the back :D but then he admits he saw Henry shower that morning (Patty says, not together I hope hah)
- Kyu's question to Hangeng is "Are you my Hangeng?" HG says he belongs to everyone. They say it's an inside joke and Hangeng always says "NO" when KH asks him.
- Kyu's question to Henry is "Why do you act so 'sha' (dumb)" (loose translation) He clarifies that he means "like a dumb little kid." Kyu then wants to give Patty a massage.
- Donghae's next and he rushes to sit next to Patty. Patty says she can tell he really likes Siwon from what's written on his board.
- Patty points out all of the stars he wrote all over Siwon's name. DH's question to Siwon is "When are you gonna buy me a Playstation?" Patty says "Oh, it's cause he's rich right? His family is quite wealthy because they own a convenience store chain." Siwon gets really embarrassed, but says he'll buy it for DH when they get back to Beijing. The story behing the Playstation thing is that after an awards show in 2008, they were drinking Baijiu (Chinese hard liquor), but DH was reluctant to drink it, so Siwon promised to get him a Playstation console if DH tried some. Patty's like "So if I drink some, can you buy me something too?"
- DH's question to ZM is "Why is your face so big? Haha, kidding. You're still very/most shuai." Super-vain ZM DID NOT LOOKED PLEASED. Patty then asks do you mean he's very ("hen") shuai or the most ("zui") shuai, because he used both in the sentence and it doesn't make sense together. DH thinks about it and goes with "very" or "hen" (not the most LMAO). ZM still looks mad.
- Then Hangeng says to excuse him, he has to discuss something with the rest of the members for a second. *they speak in Korean* HG pretends to look upset.
- They keep going with the activity. RW asks Siwon something in Korean. Siwon then tries to get Patty to laugh, so he says "You're very pretty in Taiwan." Patty's like, "But I'm not when I go to Hong Kong?" lol
- Questions from fans: "If you guys had little sisters, which members would you approve of them having as boyfriends?" "What's your most unforgettable birthday?" "I love you SJM, give me back my money, and marry me (wtf)" "What do you think is the sexiest thing about Patty?" "When were the most angry?" "Hangeng, can you perform a traditional dance?" "Any funny stories from when you guys go out drinking?" "What kind of girls do you guys like?" "Siwon, do you like this pic of Kyu?" (Sorry I couldn't catch all of the questions!)
- Patty expresses how moved she would be if she were in their position, having so many fans from different places encouraging them. Hangeng agrees and says they feel very happy that all of their hard work had not been in vain.
- Question to RW: "Which member would you choose as your little sister's boyfriend?" He chooses Siwon. Why? HG says "It's 'cause he's rich!" RW says it's because he thinks Siwon is a kind-hearted person and "clean" haha. Hangeng says "Oh yeah, what about me??" Zhoumi says Kyu is probably the worst choice because he's always playing games and will ignore his girlfriend.
- Kyu admits he plays games a lot, but says if he were to have one, she would be his everything and his princess~~ Patty says they'll know the day he finally gets a girlfriend when he puts down his gaming stuff.
- So this is when HG starts getting annoyed. I love how Patty immediately starts freaking out and speaking in English to Henry. The reason they give her for the tension is that the filming is taking a lot time due to translation and communication isues and they had a lot scheduled to begin with. Patty is worried it's because it's something she said, but their manager denies it.
- They laugh and discuss the prank backstage in Korean. Hangeng says in Chinese "Wow everyone really does think I'm angry!"
- They all go back to the interview area where Patty is and explain that Hangeng is a bit frustrated, so they'll continue without him. Haha, Patty is such a good sport! She wants them to teach her the Sorry Sorry dance, and Henry says "I'll do it, I'll dance with you!" in order to fulfill his task. He wants to teach her the Super Girl dance instead though. She asks RW to show her the Sorry Sorry dance. Then they all dance to Super Girl together.
- HG says something like "Are you guys coming out? What are you even clapping about?" omg, he's scary when he's mad...HAWT
- Patty doesn't hear him say that though, so HG comes out and calls the members away. They apologize to her and go backstage again.
- Happy Birthday to Patty!!
- Patty's like "I was so scared!" She thanks everyone, including SJM and her crew, while breaking out in tears. DH acts like he wants to smush the cake into her face.
- She continues saying that she was really scared and that their acting was very believable. HG said that DH even admitted being scared speechless by his act. Then they eat cake and reveal the tasks they were supposed to do with her (the massage, dancing, making her laugh, etc.) Patty says she was afraid she had drawn out the interview too long, but HG reassures her and tells her she is patient/even-tempered.
- a clip of RW teaching Patty their dance moves while most of the members were backstage with HG during their prank
- Donghae asks how old she is turning, but she wants him to guess. He thinks she's 28 now, but he's wrong (she just turned 30 I think)
- Haha, Patty is still stunned by what happened and compliments their acting again. Henry thought HG really was mad though until they reminded him backstage it was a prank lol. Apparently Kyu was also fooled and asked Hangeng the same thing in an earlier video (pointed to me by [info]proleptical, thanks!)
- The next ep will have SJM cooking for Patty's birthday.
- OMG Hangeng's dumplings!!

Why Eunhyuk (Super Junior member, Siwon's boyband-mate) want Siwon to be together with his sister, Lee Sora ? Eunhyuk prefer Siwon than Kangin. Here are the answers :
-Since Eunhyuk loves his sister, he wants the best future and hapinnes in her life of course. And Siwon is the most 'complete' man. Siwon has money! Of course bright future! Siwon has good manner, humble, nice guy, kind guy, and gentleman. But Kangin loves drink.
